See who is online right now on Hotspot Wi‑Fi — live sessions from MikroTik routers and Ruijie RADIUS. In the sidebar this is Hotspot → Active Users (URL: active vouchers). It is a live session monitor, not your voucher inventory list.
In plain language
A guest logs in with a voucher → a hotspot session opens → they appear here with a green online marker. When they disconnect or you kick them, the row goes away. Redeemed but offline vouchers do not show on this page.
Not the same as Voucher Management (create/print codes, Active = unused inventory), PPPoE Active Sessions, or the customer portal “my vouchers” list.
Where to find it
- Open Hotspot → Active Users.
- View needs
viewVouchers. Disconnect needs editVouchers. - Employees only see sessions on routers assigned to them. The dashboard Active Users card uses the same live data.
What the page shows
- Overview chips — total online, per-router counts (click a chip to filter that router).
- Search — voucher code, phone, MAC, IP, device name, router, package.
- Table — Voucher, Device (DHCP host name when available), MAC, IP, Router, Package, Uptime.
- Expand a row — DHCP lease details (MikroTik), session profile, voucher limits, link to Open voucher details.
- Refresh now — also auto-refreshes about every 25 seconds (short server cache may apply).
Disconnect
In the expanded Session — Hotspot section, click Disconnect. That removes the live session only. The voucher stays valid — the guest can log in again immediately.
- MikroTik: removes the `/ip/hotspot/active` entry (router must be reachable via WireGuard).
- Ruijie: RADIUS CoA kick (see Ruijie Gateways).
- To block login until you re-enable, use Pause/Disable on the voucher in Voucher Management or voucher details — not Disconnect here.
- Pause, extend limits, and delete are not on this page.
MikroTik vs Ruijie
| | MikroTik | Ruijie |
|---|
| Source | RouterOS hotspot active + DHCP leases | RADIUS accounting (session still open) |
| Device / IP | Rich when lease matches | Often empty / — |
| Needs online | WireGuard connected | Recent accounting (stale after ~15 min) |
| Disconnect | Remove hotspot active | RADIUS CoA |
Important caveats
- “Active” on Vouchers often means unused / redeemable in inventory — not “online now.”
- Disconnect ≠ disable. Guests can reconnect with the same code after a kick.
- MikroTik routers without WireGuard will not show live sessions (chip may show failed).
- Ruijie may take a few minutes to clear a silently dropped session from the list.
- Occasional MikroTik hotspot users with no matching NettPortal voucher can appear without Disconnect / voucher details.
